First Post - Public Discourse

There remains little honesty or respect in public discourse. Those who disagree can't just disagree honorably, they must like children annihilate the other party ... somehow perceiving the other party's position as a threat to their own legitimacy.

I agree, but it does seem like some parties are more known for this :-)

I like your opening on"Knowing Ones Limitation". I 've written the same pitch in my column in local paper in the Bay Area and becaues I am surrounded by people who don't know their limitations, I got fed up!
They insisted on becoming a member of cerain organization of which they are not supposed to be included. Just because they were allowed by previous administrations to be members-(although they did not have the qualification) they continued and insisted to be in. In other words, these people did not know their limitations.
I am fed up!
